This is the first ever clasp and spiral I made with some practice wire from Michaels.

This is the first bracelet I made with my own wire links, double eyepins and clasp. All made for the first time. The beads are Amethyst and Rose Quartz.

These earrings are made of Tigers Eye beads, and my very first earwires, first single swirl wrap and headpins.
And this ladies and gentlemen is my first all-wire bracelet! I made this and the "S" clasp (my first "S" clasp with the first "coil") last night. The earrings were made the night before last.
So all in all, a collection of my "firsts" in wire jewelry.
Yesterday I registered for a metalsmithing course which starts from February 6, 2007. Looking forward to that. And most probably I'll be attending a workshop by Connie Fox in April. Looking forward to that as well! :-D
I have two people to thank who have been a great source of inspiration and help in getting me interested and started in jewelry. One is my friend "Claire". She is an awesome metalsmith, and I'll add her link as soon as she is done making her website! And the other is a wonderful lady called "Judy". She makes beautiful wire jewelry and pointed me to Connie's website and many others. Her website is www.endearingcreations.com.
See you around!
PS: This is my first attempt at blogging too. LOL! Hence the weird formatting. I have no idea how to make this look better.
